Очень большая загрузка диска.

Добрый день!

Поставил 11-й оракл с базой по умолчанию.

После запуска начинает очень сильно загружать диск, до такой степени, что работать становится невозможно.

Система:
Тип ЦП	Mobile DualCore Intel Core Duo T2400, 1833 MHz (11 x 167)
Системная память	1024 Мб  (DDR2-533 DDR2 SDRAM)

Причина тормозов, как я понимаю, в очень большом вводе/выводе. На прикерепленном рисунке видно, сколько процесс оракла считал/записал за два часа. При том за это время я сделал два снимка для отчета statspack, сам отчет и несколько мелкик запросов.

Посмотрел некоторые настройки:
1) Аудит выключен.
2) Трассировка выключена.
3) Задания (как обычные так и dbms_scheduler) не запущены.
4) Архивлоги я отключил.

Замечу даже, что и служебные файлы Оракла и саму базу поставил в исключения антивируса. :)

Помогите уменьшить дисковый ввод/вывод плиз. База на ноутбуке, исключительно для экспериментов, не более. :)

Обычных заданий все-таки нет:
SQL> select count(*) from all_jobs;

Но все эти задания были изначально и:
- думаю, что нужны для функционирования базы
- не особо нагружают дисковую подсистему

Хотя это пока мои предположения и остается точно выяснить.

По поводу оперативки - понимаю что, впритык, но судя по всему все упирается в дисковую подсистему. Да и почти 3 гига чтений + 3 гига записей процессом оракл, при том, что с базой никто не работает - это как по мне чересчур.

Ах, да, забыл самое важное:
Дисковый накопитель	SAMSUNG HM100JC  (100 Гб, 5400 RPM, Ultra-ATA/100)
Но тут ничего необычного нет - типичный ноутбучный жесткий диск.

спасибо за совет, изучу насколько эта штука мне жизненно необходима и пожалуй отключу ее. Интересно, зачем процессу emagent понадобилось считать более 6 гиг. :)

Ну если не надо собирать системную стастику ,то можно отключить, особенно с учетом
автор
База на ноутбуке, исключительно для экспериментов, не более.

при необходимости можно собирать статистику по схеме или таблицам. В дополнение к emctl, я бы посмотрел "лишние" оракловские службы. Можно даже без листенера обойтись..
